Privacy Policy
win_dev_ger ("we", "us", or "our") develops and distributes software for Windows. This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect, how we use it, when it may be shared, and what choices you may have when using our software and related support services.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to our software, support communications, and related product services. It does not automatically apply to third-party services, stores, or platforms that distribute or interact with our software. Those providers may have their own privacy policies.
2. Information We May Collect
We aim to keep data collection limited and proportionate to operating and improving our software. Depending on how you use it or contact us, we may collect the following information:
Technical and device information
Software version, Windows version, device type and basic system configuration, language and region settings, and anonymous or pseudonymous diagnostic identifiers.
Usage and diagnostic information
Feature interactions, performance events, error reports, crash logs, and technical logs needed to identify bugs, stability issues, or compatibility problems.
Usage analytics
Our apps may send usage statistics to help us understand which features are used and improve them: app launches and how long the app is open, which sections and settings are opened or changed, which built-in or community content is applied, and steps in editors, sign-in and publishing. Each event includes the app and Windows version, the interface language, a random identifier generated on your device and, if you are signed in to a community account, your account identifier. We do not send your name, email address, passwords, file or folder names, or the contents of your files.
We use Amplitude, Inc. as our analytics provider; this data is stored on its servers in the United States. Amplitude may use the IP address of the request to determine an approximate location (country); our apps do not include the IP address in the statistics themselves. You can turn statistics off at any time in the app settings ("Send usage statistics"); after that, no more statistics are sent from your device.
Information you provide directly
If you contact us, we may receive your email address, the content of your message, and any screenshots, attachments, or technical details you choose to send.

Where applicable under relevant privacy laws, we process information on one or more of the following grounds: performance of a contract or provision of requested services; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving our products; your consent, where required; and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Sharing of Information
We may share personal information only where reasonably necessary, including with service providers that help us operate, maintain, analyze, secure, or support our products; with legal or regulatory authorities when required by law; or as part of a business transfer, merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
If third-party processors are used, we expect them to handle information under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
6. Third-Party Distribution Platforms

Diagnostic and technical data may be retained for a limited period needed to investigate issues and improve our software.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Data Transfers
Depending on where we or our service providers operate, information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that such transfers are carried out in accordance with applicable law.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
